David Austin is on faculty at the University of British Columbia Mathematics Department. His research areas include low dimensional topology and differential geometry; currently he is studying knots from the perspective of symplectic geometry. Dr. Austin was named "Best Instructor" for 1996 by science undergraduate students at UBC.

Bill Casselman is on faculty at the University of British Columbia Mathematics Department. His research areas include algebraic geometry, modular function theory, and infinite dimensional representations of Lie groups;

Leah Keshet is a Faculty member at the University of British Columbia Mathematics Department. Her research areas include Mathematical Biology.

Djun Kim recently completed his Ph. D. at the University of British Columbia Mathematics Department.

Dr. Rob Scharein earned his Ph. D. in Computer Science at the University of British Columbia. His research interests include visualization, topology, geometry. He currently holds PIms postdoctoral fellowship, and is working on various improvements to KnotPlot, including a port to OpenGL.
